Change in renewing your prescriptions. Effective June 1st, 2023

Effective June 1st, 2023  the Nation River Health Clinic will be implementing a  prescription renewal policy .  Specifically  there will be a $25 fee billable  to patients for prescriptions written or renewed  without a visit.  The Nation River Health Clinic  will not accept requests for renewals from your pharmacies as of June 1, 2023.  In order to avoid being charged for these prescriptions please be aware of your supply of medications and  book an appointment to review  these medications prior to running out.  This policy will increase  prescribing safety for patients  and reduce  the overwhelming  burden of unnecessary phone calls to our office.  You are encouraged to bring all your prescribed and over the counter medications with you to each visit and we will review/renew your prescriptions and save you the fees.
